Eva L. Martens

Eva L. Martens, age 90, of Maumee, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at home with loving family by her side. She was born October 23, 1928 to James and Frances (Ferguson) Streets in Alger, Ohio. Eva enjoyed and loved playing Bingo. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Eva will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Martens, Sr.; sons, Bradley and Mark Martens; grandson, Eric Martens; son-in-law, John Greene; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. Eva is survived by her daughter, Linda Greene; son, Robert (Jeannie) Martens, Jr.; grandchildren, Dawn (Robert), Chris, Duke (Sue), Heath, and Montana; great-granddaughter, Emylee; sister, Louise Cline; brother, Leroy (Gloria) Streets; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
