Eugene Edward Mories

Eugene Edward Mories, age 70 of Toledo passed away Sunday February 2, 2003 in St. Anne's Mercy Medical Center. He was born May 25, 1932 to Pearl Edward and Esther (Lindemeyer) Mories in Toledo. Eugene was employed with Daimler Chrysler as an Inspector of Small Press for many years retiring in 1997. He was also a Security Guard with the Franklin Park Mall for 17 years. Eugene was a four time Commander of American Legion #348 and also a member of "Voiture 141 40 et 8" and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. These organizations were very important to him and he was a very dedicated member. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his sister; Rose Marie Wright and brother; Don Mories. He is survived by his loving wife; Linda L. (Feeney) Mories, step-children; Jeannie (Dave) Brenner, Keith Jacobs and Karen (Ray Moore) Jacobs. He was a loving grandfather to Eric Johnson, Dave Lucas, Branden Moore, Cody Brenner, Nathan Moore, and great granddaughter; Madeline Johnson. Eugene is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). American Legion services begin Friday at 7:00 pm. Voiture 141 40 et 8 Services will begin at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry S. Craig. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
