Eugene Francis Driscoll

Eugene F. "Gene" Driscoll, age 82, of Toledo, passed away November 21, 2013 at Genesis Healthcare. He was born on May 13, 1931 to James and Ruth (Knaggs) Driscoll in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve serving his country proudly during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Toledo Police Office for 4 years then went on to work for Teamsters as a trucker for over 30 years until retiring. Gene will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gene is survived by his loving son, Sean (Jennifer) Driscoll; and many extended family members in Philadelphia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former spouse and friend, Sally Driscoll; step-son, David M. Driscoll; and brothers, James and John Driscoll.

The family will receive guests on Monday from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
