Ethelda Jeannie King

Ethelda Jeannie King, age 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family at her side, June 26, 2015 at Spring Meadows Nursing Home. She was born April 27, 1931 in Toledo to Enis Elton and Ethelda Lorraine Baker. Jeannie was a member of Northwest Baptist Church where sang in the choir and really enjoyed helping with the children. She loved to fish and cook; but most importantly spending time with her family and witnessing about her faith.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Carl R. King, Sr.; children, Carl (Angie Todd-King) R. King, Jr., Dianna Holley-Lee King, Linda (Dorin) Brown, and Steven (Mary) Blank; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 am at Northwest Baptist Church, 3906 West Alexis Road, Toledo, OH where the family will receive family and friends at 10:00 a.m. at church. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
