Ethel Mae Watson

Ethel Mae Watson, age 81, formerly of Dayton, OH transitioned from this life, March 20, 2021with her loving daughter by her side. She was born May 6, 1939 in Prentiss, MS to Walter and Susanna (Walker) Smith. Ethel loved bowling, sewing, gardening, cooking and baking for her friends and family.

Ethel is survived by her children, Lyntia (Frederick) Ruffin, Charles (Shannon) Watson and Michael (Julia) Watson and Stanley Martin;15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings, Louise Finch, Katie Smith, Elaine Darnell, Walter Smith, Willie (Sylvia) Smith, Percy Smith, Everett Smith and Larry Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her sisters, Evonne Tyson and Luverne Brown.

The family will receive guests Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral services for Ethel will be private for the family.
