Ethel Tallent, age 93 passed away Monday, June 7th, 2010 at Concord Nursing Home in Toledo, Ohio. She was born September 10th, 1916 in Rutledge, Tennessee.
She is survived by her sons, Fain and Tony (Anita) Tallent; grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Eric, Jeff (Carrie), Nick (Erin) and Paul (Amanda) Tallent; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reed Tallent in 1986 and son, Johnnie in 1940.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Frances De Sales High School, Bridge Point Baptist Church, American Heart Association or Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation.
The family will receive guests Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
