Ethan T Koralewski

March 25, 1990 — May 1, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Ethan Thomas Koralewski announces his unexpected passing on May 1, 2018.

Ethan ("E") was born on March 25, 1990 in Toledo, Ohio to Tom and Julie Koralewski. Ethan attended Maumee High School, where he played his favorite sport, hockey. He was a 4 year varsity letterman and served as team captain his senior year. In his senior year of high school Ethan was the supervisor of construction on Penta's yearly house. Ethan graduated from the Penta Construction Program in 2008. Out of high school he worked in the construction field and also attended Owens Community College until he landed a position at Estes. Ethan became a proud "yard jockey" there for 8 years.

Ethan lived life to the fullest. He had many hobbies, it seemed like there was a new one every week. Anything to do with the outdoors Ethan was all in. Ethan took in his Grandpa Hofmann's love for coon hunting and fishing. From a young age, he dove into the love of dirt bikes, four wheelers, and motorcycles. In the winter months you could find him clearing off the snow to play pond hockey at his aunt and uncle's house. He spent his summers with friends and family at the lake wakeboarding, boating, and creating lifelong memories. Ethan was a proud "River Rat," attempting to catch walleye, but ultimately just taking in the view. If he ever found free time, you could find him at his brother's house playing with his RC cars and tossing the frisbee. Of course, you would find a Henry's Hard Soda in one hand and a box of candy in the other, and don't forget the extra cig on his ear. If you know Ethan, you know he loved watching movies and adding on to his aquarium, but being around his friends and family came first. Every activity he was passionate about, he took great pride in including his son and teaching him everything he knows. Levi is truly a mini version of his father.

Family and friends meant everything to Ethan. Not only was Arlo Ethan's best friend, but also became apart of the family. He loved making memories with the Diller boys and Nick Smith shooting guns. There was also the two Kyles, Kyle O and Kyle Shepard, always getting in trouble together. He created many memories hunting in the woods with Zak, Jason, Dalton and anyone else who wanted to tag along, but always his two best hunters, Seth and Levi. He shared his love for hockey with Coach Scott, Chewy, the Kings, and his past teammates. His summers were shared with the Coldwater Crew, especially the Weinberg's who became a second family. Ethan had great times with his most recent fishing buddy Jared, who got to share Levi's first walleye run. Ethan always looked forward to Aunt Vicki's crazy gifts and time with Uncle Bill, especially in Breckenridge. His favorite babysitter and cousin Lisa were always seen smiling and laughing with each other. Some of his favorite times were spent at Koralewski Christmas' and weddings with his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; where there always was a new memory made. Ethan, being the first grandchild for Don and Thumper Hofmann, always had a special place for them in his heart, and theirs for him.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Tom and Julie Koralewski, son Levi, brother Seth, sister Emily, Grandma Thumper, Sarah Hart (Mother of Levi), in addition to numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Ethan was preceded in death by his Grandpa Don Hofmann, Grandpa Leonard Koralewski, Grandma Beverly Koralewski, and Uncle John Koralewski.

Words cannot describe how much we will miss his kind heart, contagious laugh, and infectious smile. We are blessed to have had him as part of our lives and find comfort knowing he is now an angel watching over us.

The family will receive guest on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43615.
