Esther J. Wheatley, age 87, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late John and Dora (Wable) Mazany on April 25, 1932.
Esther enjoyed being a mother, being a homemaker and built a happy place for her family to live. She loved her fur babies Ginger and Trixie, as well as, being an avid bird watcher, and talking to her best friend Jean on the phone. Esther spent her time listening to music, tapping her foot to Polka music, and waking up the house hold on Sunday mornings to the many tunes in her collection.
Left cherish Esther's memories are her daughters, Linda (John) Moran, Sandra (Tim) McGowan, Karen Wheatley, and Sue Spencer; brother-in-law, Jerry Wheatley; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wheatley; grandchildren, Dana McGowan, Michael Moran, Andrew Moran, Rebecca (Roy) Ford, Jennifer Wheatley, and Jodie (Josh) Feezle; great-grandchildren, Kama, Mikey, Chyanne, C.J., Josie, Alex, Caden, Jaiden, Micah, Mya, and Brenna.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, of 41 years, Clyde Wheatley; and son, John Wheatley; brothers, Paul and Melvin; and sister, Mary.
Family will be receiving guest on Thursday March 12, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617 (419 392 9500). Funeral Services will begin at 12 Noon at the funeral home, with internment following at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
