Esther M. Rittichier

Esther M. "Nonnie" Rittichier, age 85, of Temperance, formerly of Toledo, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Hickory Ridge Nursing Home. She was born on September 27, 1927 to Walter and Nell (Grindstaff) Hoskins in Kimball, West Virginia. Esther was employed as a sales associate for many years at Target. She was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting, and loved to cook, play cards and games. Esther loved nothing more than the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Rittichier; son, Gary Rittichier; sister, Carol Hendrickson; and brother, Walter Hoskins. Esther is survived by her loving son, Phillip Rittichier; grandsons, James (Sherri) and Todd (Stacy) Rittichier; great-grandchildren, Britanie, Tanner and Alyssa; great-great-grandchildren, Tayghan and T.C.; goddaughter and niece, Sara Sheppard; niece, Libby Hendrickson; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
