Esther C. Myers

Esther C. Myers, age 66 of Toledo passed away Saturday, September 24th, 2011. She was born December 5th, 1944 to Wilfred O. and Ada (Cornelsion) Myers in Toledo. Esther worked at The Lutheran Home for 37 years as a cook until her departure in 2006. Her family will remember the artistic talent that she displayed in the drawings that she had accomplished.

She leaves behind her brothers, William (Virginia) Myers of Oregon and Harry (Angeline) Myers of Millbury; sisters, Alice Silcox of Toledo, Virginia (Gary) Schondel of Petoskey, Michigan and Gladys Pounds of Toledo; eight nieces and seven nephews, with a special thanks to Billy Jr. for looking after Esther. Preceding Esther in death were her parents and sister, Mary Ann Ceglio.

The family will receive guest Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
