Estella B. Hall
Estella Hall, age 97 formerly of Weston and Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 31st, 2005 at Sunset Village, Sylvania. She was born August 30, 1907 to Melvin Mitchell and Ella Maria (Brunner) Moorhead in Weston, Ohio. Estella owned and operated Weston's first beauty shop. She was a beautician for 44 years retiring in 1970. Estella was a member of Weston Church of Christ, the Historical Society and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time outside watching the animals and admiring the beautiful flowers that surrounded her. Estella married her loving husband John M. Hall December 10, 1927. They were married 53 ½ years until he passed away in October 1980.
Estella is survived by her son, James R. (Mary) Hall of Lee's Summit, Missouri; daughter, Sally (Dale) Kille of Sylvania; grandchildren, Scott Strayer; John (Catherine) Hall and Sara (Martin) Cunningham; step-grandchildren, Terry (Lisa); Brian (Teri); and Randy Kille; great grandchildren, Keiran and Gabrielle Cunningham, Gus and Amelia Hall and Anthony Garcia; and step great grandchildren, Angela (Jim); Travis; Brooke and Bryanne and step great-great granddaughter, Elizabeth Welty.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. and Monday from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Weston Church of Christ, Center St. Weston, Ohio. Funeral Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the church. Officiating will be Brother David Johnson. Interment will follow in Weston Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.
