Ervin W. Gratz

Ervin Walter Gratz, age 81, of Toledo, passed away January 27, 2019 at Genesis of Point Place. He was born June 14, 1937 in Lambertville, MI to Clifford and Helen (Kruse) Gratz. Ervin was employed with Henry J. Speiker and Rudolph Libbey, retiring in 1996. Ervin was a member of Local #500 and enjoyed going to flea markets.

Ervin is survived by his children, Cindy (John) Ceravolo, Marjorie (John) Bauer, Lourie Paepke, Jackie (Jim) Biesiada and Dan (Tammy) Gratz; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, John Gratz, Evelyn (George) Bigelow and Sue Reno. In addition to his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Gratz; and siblings, Clifford and Nancy.

The family will receive guests, Saturday February 2, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road, Toledo (419-392-9500). Memorial Services will begin Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Ervin's memory.
