Ernest Sivak

Ernest Sivak, 84, passed away on March 31, 2012. He was born on October 20, 1927 to the late Paul and Mary Sivak in Panyok, Hungary.

Ernest came to America in 1956 with his brother, Imre to start a new life. He was a shoemaker at Tiedtke's and later worked at Kaiser Aluminum as a painter. Ernest was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Birmingham.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Imre; sister, Mary. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Marilyn; children, Ernie (Kathy) and Michael (Val); grandchildren, Jason, Kyle, Lauren and Olivia and several nieces and nephews in Hungary.

The family will receive guests Friday from 10-12 Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Pastor Bruce Snyder officiating. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
