Erick D. Crawford

Erick D. "E" Crawford, age 38, of Kingston, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 21, 2021. He was born on October 26, 1983 to Christie Crawford in Fort Ord, California. Erick was raised by Paulette McIntyre in Waynesville, MO and moved to Toledo, OH where he lived with the McIntyre and Hawkins families. In Toledo, Erick graduated from Scott High School. He was on honor roll and played football which anyone who knew Erick, knew he had a special talent for it. Erick was a handy man and could fix anything. His smile, spirit and caring nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by aunt/mom, Paulette McIntyre; son, Sean Erick; daughter, Preshiss; and granddad, M.C. Hawkins. Erick is survived by his daughters, Autumn and Alivia; step-daughter, Katelyn; mother, Christine Crawford; grandmother, Ada Hawkins; brother, Christopher (Amanda) McIntyre; sisters, Lajuanda and Nakeya McIntyre; uncles, Robert (Francine) Crawford and James (Cheryl) McIntyre; aunt, Crystal McIntyre; cousins, Shannon and Ryan (Andrea) McIntyre; 2 nieces; 4 nephews; and a host of family members and dear friends in New York.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. (For the safety of the Crawford family and their guests, masks are required with social distancing).
