Emmi Orzechowski
Emmi Orzechowski, age 86 of Toledo, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Lake Park. She was born on May 17, 1920 to Josef and Julie Reichenaur in Czecho-Slovakia. Emmi then met Boleslaw "Bill" Orzechowski and they were married on June 26, 1948 in Hamburg, Germany. Then on July 21, 1951 she and Boleslaw moved to the United States. Emmi loved nothing more than her family, especially her son. She was a very devoted mother and loving person who will now be the guardian angel watching over her only grandson, Griffin.
Emmi is survived by her loving husband of 58 years: Boleslaw "Bill" Orzechowski; son: John (Melanie) Orzechowski; and grandson: Griffin Orzechowski.
The family will receive guests at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) on November 4, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Memorial Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Eric McGlade. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, honoring Emmi's wishes, those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider Griffin Orzechowski's College Fund c/o Promedica Federal Credit Union.
