Emma Rarick

Emma M. Rarick, age 73, of Toledo, passed away Monday, September 25, 2006 at Harborside of Swanton Nursing Home. She was born on April 8, 1933 to Noah and Hazel Cornwell in Toledo. Emma loved shopping with her daughter and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard and Edward Cornwell. Emma is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Don R. Rarick, Sr., sons: David R. (Lisa Lee), Donald R. Jr. (Ruth), Dwight R. (Lynn Aksten) and Kenneth L. Rarick; daughter: Pamela Sue (Gary) Tippie; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister: Evelyn Horgan; and brothers: Clyde, Darrell (Margaret), and Raymond Cornwell.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
