Emma Julia Love, age 90 of Toledo passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2005 in the Toledo Hospital. She was born February 13th, 1915 to John and Rose (Radi) Bodzsar in Carson City, Michigan. Emma was employed with Libby Owens for 10 years and she was also the owner of the former "My Loves" Beauty Salon for 10 years. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church and the Alter Society. Emma was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with her whole family.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Suzanne (Love) Clark and siblings, Steve Bodzsar; William Bodzsar; Mary Mililbak; Margaret Hoffman; Elizabeth Lenz and Irene Steele. She is survived by her loving family, including her husband with whom she just celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary, Ernest H. Love; children, Ernest (Fran) Love of FL; Barbara (Joe) Foltz of Holland, OH; Carol Love of Toledo; Patricia (Charlie) Tailford of Toledo and Mary (Thomas) Anthony of Toledo; son-in-law, Tom Clark, Jr.; 29 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Rossry will begin Friday evening at 7:30. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Officiating will be Fr. Ed Littelmann. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
