Elma L. Ludlow formerly of Oak Alley Court (Toledo) went peacefully to be with her Lord on August 16th, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. A lifelong Toledo resident, she graduated from Riverside School, Waite High School and the University of Toledo.
A teacher and administrator, she taught at Glann School, Mt. Vernon School, Coy School and Chase School. She served as assistant principal at Deveaux School, principal of Ottawa River School and principal at Burroughs School. She retired in 1975.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Florence McDonagh and brothers, Dean and Harry Ludlow. She is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 25th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at St. Michael's in the Hills Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Michael's in the Hills Episcopal Church, 4718 Brittany Road, Toledo, Ohio or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30,000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 or a charity of choice.
The family asks that those who are able to attend, bring fond memories to share of Elma.
