Ellen L. Pethe, age 90, of Toledo, passed away December 20, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Ellen was born June 30, 1927 in Toledo to Dalton and Anna May Eckert. She was employed with the Lucas County Board of Elections. Ellen volunteered at the Toledo libraries. She enjoyed international travel and life long learning at Lourdes University.
She is survived by her children, Michael J. (Betty) Pethe, Anna M. (Philip Carter) Mills, Carol (John) Rork; seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memories sharing will begin Wednesday at 7:00 pm. at the funeral home.
