Ellen Mears

Ellen E. Mears, age 83, passed away Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. She was born November 5th, 1926 to Joseph and Mrytle (Neider) McCarthy in Utica, New York. Ellen attended Historic Church of St. Patricks, St. Patricks of Heatherdowns and Our Lady of Perpetual Help where she also sang in the choir at all three parishes. She is survived by her son, David (Gayle) Mallory; one grandchild and sister, Anne Barshel.

Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2255 Central Grove. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Robert Reinhart officiating. Inurnment will be private at later date in Resurrection Cemetery.
