Elizabeth Stritzel

Elizabeth A. Stritzel, age 68, formerly of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 28th, 2005 in Swan Point Care Center, Maumee. She was born January 17th, 1937 to Marchant and Dorothy Poulson in Toledo. Elizabeth loved children and was a foster mother for many children over the years. She also enjoyed painting and sewing as a young woman. Elizabeth was also a member of the MS Society.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, John Stritzel and brothers, Tom and Raymond Poulson. She is survived by her loving children, Terry (Randy) Basham; Kim Braatz and Beth (John) Kunz and Nancy (Bob) Snyder; Richard (Laura) Grabach and Wayne (Lori) Schultz and their families; grandchildren, Christina; Patricia; Erica; John; Jennifer; Michelle; Wendy and Marcus; great grandchildren, Christopher; Celina; Tyler; Sabrina; Paige and Haley; siblings, Edward (MaryLou) and Ronald (Ruth) and Carol (Ed) Clapp and sister-in-law, Jackie.

The family will receive guests Monday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Chaplain Mark Bigley. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
