Elizabeth Jane Needles

Elizabeth "Beth" Jane Needles, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Toledo on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

Beth is survived by her beloved son, Robert Stanley Needles and her grandson, Ezra Needles, in whom she delighted; her cousins, Sally Winnale, Barbara Myers and Rebecca Swoager (William), Thomas Myers (Yvonne) and Corliss ("Bud") Myers; nephews Aaron and Reed Needles and niece Nikki Needles. Beth is predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth Needles (Myers) and her brother J. Stanley Needles.

Beth received her Bachelor's degree Findley College went on to receive her Master's degree in Education. She was for many years a teacher and administrator for the Toledo Public Schools. She was a leader and very active for many years in Advent Lutheran Church in Sylvania. As a Foster parent, Beth adopted Helen as a teen and then went on to adopt her son, Robert whom had her whole heart since the day of his birth. She was able to re-live that pride and joy through her grandson Ezra for the last 4 years. She was a mother to Robert's friends; her door was always open to those in need. Beth will be missed by her family and friends and will always be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Her Life will be planned at a future time.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family for funeral services.
