Elizabeth "Betty" Mack
Elizabeth A. "Betty" Mack, age 86, of Toledo, passed away, Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Lake Park Nursing Home. She was born December 28, 1921 to John and Cora Mack in Toledo. Betty was employed with the Board of Education, Medical College University and a local insurance company during her career. Betty also had a life long interest in art and painting and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sisters, Alice Hartman; Daisy Weiss and Jane Hinkleman; brother, Duane Mack and longtime friend, Dorothy Kellogg. She is survived by her nieces, Beverly Long and Nancy Tobias; nephews, Thomas and John "Jack" Hartman; great-nieces, Laurie; Julie; Tammy; Cheryl; Tracy; Mindy; Patricia and Dianne; great nephews, James; Matthew; Mark and Todd; brother-in-law, Tom Hartman and special friends, Joanna and William Suder and Lois Vess.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Newcomer funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Andy Hill.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cherry Street Mission.
