Elizabeth J. Long

Elizabeth J. Long, age 22, of Holland, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020. She was born on July 28, 1997 to Wilbur "Wil" and Jean Del (Adelphia) Long in Toledo, Ohio. Liz graduated from Treca Digital Academy a year earlier then she was scheduled to graduate. She loved her dogs, taking her dogs to the park and above everything, loved spending time with her daughter, Summer. They enjoyed going to the Toledo Zoo, Imagination Station and the mall. Liz loved to karaoke with her mom and her sisters. She was a self-starter and was working on opening her own dog breeding kennel, something that she was immensely passionate about. She also hoped to open her own bar and had already gotten her bar tending license to work towards doing that. Liz was not afraid of trying new things and she loved to travel. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, friend and will be dearly missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Christain McCowan; daughter, Summer McCowan; parents, Wilbur "Wil" Long and Jean Adelphia-Long; sisters, Brittany Long, Felicia Long, Nicole Long, Trisha Harrison, Kelsey Long and Esther Long; brothers, Keith Harrison, Christopher Long, Samuel Long and Elijah Long; grandparents, Gloria Adelphia, Lloyd Adelphia and Rosie Rosswurm, Frank and Bonnie Long; aunts and uncles, Jenna Adelphia, Frank, Jr. (Sherry) Long and Jerry Jewitt; niece and nephew, Thea Harrison and Kingston Harrison. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Julie Adelphia.
