Elisabeth Pfoertner

Elisabeth A. Pfoertner, age 92, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, August 24, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on April 15, 1915 in Varel, Germany. Elisabeth was a fantastic homemaker and loved to spend time with her family. She was a very warm, caring and loving mother, oma and great oma who will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilhelm Pfoertner, son-in-law, Edward A. Deiley, grandson, Edward W. Deiley and daughter, Heide Kreps. Elisabeth is survived by her loving family, daughter: Monika (Bruno) Heise; grandchildren: Heidi (Luis) Hernandez, Sonja Heise and Kimberly (Kirk) Whitmore; great-grandchildren: Caitlin, Audrey, Calvin, Devin, Ty, Abby, Emily, Brie and Cole; sister: Lydia Heimann; and son-in-law: Lauren Kreps.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 4 – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
