Elisabeth L. Kortgã¶Ede

Elisabeth L. "Lisa" Kortgöede, age 86, of Temperance, MI, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in the emergency room at Toledo Hospital. She was born on November 19, 1930 to Joseph and Gertrud (Fröelich) Thomas in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Lisa and Karl came to the United States in 1956 and she worked at Joseph's Grocery store and Grant's. She was married to Karl Kortgöede for 63 years.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Ute (Reto) Diaz and Frank (Diane) Kortgöede; grandchildren, John (Becky) Comprix, Jason (Jennifer) Kortgöede and Alan (Alecia) Kortgöede; great-grandchildren, William, Alexandria, Braden and Grant; niece, Karen (John) Kleeberger; nephews, Hans (Ann) Olligschläger and Heinrich (Libby) Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Kortgöede in 2014; son, Rainer Kortgöede in 2011; sister, Gertrud Olligschläger and brother, Heinrich Thomas.

All services for Lisa will be private at this time. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
