Elinor Taylor

Elinor Jeanette Taylor, age 95, joined her Lord on June 8, 2016. She was born on May 7, 1921 to the late Mabel and Henry Melcher in Toledo, Ohio.
Elinor graduated from Libbey High School in 1939 and then attended Business School in downtown Toledo. She married Howard Taylor on December 8, 1945. Elinor retired from the Domestic Relations Court. She was a very active life-time member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church in South Toledo. Elinor was very dedicated to her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Brian (Pam) and Bruce and grandsons, Sean and Colin (Allison). Elinor was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Howard; parents; brother, Richard and sister-in-law, Irene.
The family will receive guests from 9-11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016 at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 745 Walbridge Ave., Toledo, OH 43609. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park.
