Eleanor "Ellie" Y. Bair
Eleanor "Ellie" Y. Bair, age 77 of Bowling Green passed away Thursday, October 17, 2002 in Wood County Nursing Home. She was born January 25, 1925 to Howard and Jennie (Remington) Young in Wyandot County, Ohio. Ellie was employed with Foodtown in Findlay and Bowling Green for 23 years. She was a WWII US Navy Veteran and held memberships with the Moose, VFW and the Elks. Ellie enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ellie was preceded in death by her husband; Edwin Bair and sister; Mary Biddle. She is survived by her children; Mrs. Robert (Linda) Miller of Findlay, Mr. Gregory (Angela) Bair of Bowling Green, and Cheryl Lanham of Bradner, OH., 6 grandchildren, sister; Agnes Clinger of Findlay, companion; Roy Schwachenwald of Bowling Green.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 5-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry S. Craig. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
