Elden E. Baker

June 2, 1933 — January 3, 2018

Elden "Al" E. Baker, age 84, of Whitehouse, Ohio passed away January 3, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born June 2, 1933 in Toledo to Carl and Ruth (Reynolds) Baker. Elden served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed and retired as a Project Manager from Owens Illinois. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his cottage in Indiana. Elden was a founding member of the Lancer's Car Club since 1956. He also co-owned the Al and Chuck SOHIO, service station from 1956-1966 at the corner of South and Spencer.

Elden is survived by his wife, Lillian M. DeArmond-Baker; children, Debbie (Bill) Koval, Kevin (Melissa) Baker and Shelly (Ted) Roberts; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Pomeroy and step-sons, Douglas (Beth) DeArmond and Gregory DeArmond. In addition to his parents, Elden was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Baker and son, Michael E. Baker.

A Celebration of Elden's Life will be held, Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Brandywine Country Club.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Elden's memory.
