Ruth Elaine Gazella, age 81, of Toledo, passed away after a brief illness on September 5, 2018. Elaine was born April 13, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Juanita (Cantieny) Borer.
She attended and graduated from Central Catholic High School. Elaine had four children with former spouse Bill Bryan. She was remarried to second husband Chuck Gazella for 37 years.
She is survived by her Daughters, Karen Huxford, Gail (Ferd) Crotte, Amy (Rick) Bartkiewicz; Son, Todd Bryan; Grand-children, Corie Huxford, Robin Patrick, Jerra Huxford, Eric Jackson, Lila Phillips, Aamanda Bartkiewicz, Lana Aldana; Sister, Rosemary (Newell) Dubail; Great Grand-children, Parker, Keaton, Alexa, Eddie, Ethan, Alayna and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Chuck; Sister, Barbara; Brother, Daniel; Son-in-law, James Huxford; and Great-Grandson, Owen James Lucio-Patrick.
A burial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 21, 2018 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Ionia, MI., where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation in Elaine's memory.
