Eileen M. Posadny

Eileen M. Posadny passed away on February 1, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gene, on Thanksgiving Day, 2019, and her parents, Joseph and Virginia Kwiatkowski.

She is survived by her children, Jill (Randy) Hendrickson, Joe (Jan) Posadny and Jim Posadny; grandchildren, Jessica Posadny, Melissa Lee and Lori Posadny; and great-grandson, Noah Mason Lee.

Eileen retired from Roadway Express in 1998 enjoying her retirement along with Gene traveling, Country Dancing, and spending winter in Las Vegas. Her hobbies were painting and crafting. She also spent her Wednesdays at the Friendship Park Community Center in Point Place, Line Dancing, and playing Bingo for over 25 years.

Eileen was an exceptional woman, but her most valuable tribute in life was becoming a Great-Grandmother. Noah Mason Lee was her pride and joy. Eileen was the most independent and strongest person her family knew, and she was surrounded by every family member as she took her last breath. Her memory will live on with her children and grandchildren.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care of Eileen in her final days. They also ask that anyone wanting to contribute in Eileen's memory consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery, 2224 Dorr St, Toledo.
