Edwin Farbrother

Edwin J. Farbrother Sr., age 70, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 23, 2010. He was born on February 4th, 1940 to Gerald and Stella (Rybak) Farbrother in Toledo, Ohio. Edwin will be remembered by his family as a loving a husband, wonderful dad and a supportive grandfather and great-grandfather. Throughout his life he had an interest in visiting and viewing different lighthouses.

Survivors include his five sons, Edwin Jr. (Sandy), Mike (Rachelle), Chris (Michelle), Patrick (Debra) and Gerald III (Liz); 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Dan (Deb) Farbrother; sisters, Joann (Ray) Smalley and Mildred (Jack) McIntosh. Preceding him in death are his parents; wife of 45 years, Mary; son, Joseph and sister, Geraldine Young.


The family will receive guests Friday from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Fr. James Brown. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
