Edward D. "Bucky" Jurski, age 84, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born on January 23, 1925 to Michael and Cecelia Jurski in Toledo. Bucky was a carpenter with the Local Union Hall 1138 until retiring in 1980 due to disability. He was an avid sports fan, often enjoying watching big time wrestling and the Detroit Tigers. Bucky was also an avid golfer, played softball and darts and liked to bowl. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Bucky will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Jurski. Bucky is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Betty Jurski; daughters, Ann (Jerry) Armitage and Pamela Cutlip; grandchildren, Wendy (Dennis) Kolinski, Barry (Karen) Armitage and James Cutlip; great-grandchildren, Megan, Shane and Mason.
Visitation and Funeral Services for Edward were private. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
