Edward "Butch" Clay Savage, age 57 of Toledo passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born October 25, 1947 to Enoch C. and LaVern (Robinson) Savage in Toledo. Edward was a member of the Teamsters and was formerly employed with Jeep as well as being in the trucking industry for several years.
Edward was preceded in death by his mother, LaVern Savage. He is survived by his father, Enoch C. Savage; children, Sherlon (James) Jones; Cynthia Savage; Tamika Savage; Mary Jane; Tiffany Savage and Andre Goree; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Marvelean (Aaron) Bryant; Mary Savage; Debra (Vitalis) Onu; Darcel Savage; Kim Burress; Dawn Burruoghs; brother, Van Savage and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are a special aunt, Maxine Savage; special niece, Evette Bryant and very special friend, Tonya Rice.
The family will receive guests Friday from 5-6 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Lewis Savage, officiant.
