Edward A. Hantula, age 94, passed away on April 6, 2016. He was born on August 27, 1921 to the late Martha and August Hantula in Girard, Ohio.
Ed was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He served in the Panama Canal Zone during WWII. Ed retired in 2002 after 20 years with the U.S. Dept. of Labor in the Wage and Hour Division. He enjoyed gardening and golfing. Ed was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Buckeye and Erie.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Allan and sisters, Helen and Lillian. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of almost 69 years, Dorcas and brothers, George (Mary) Hantula and William (Jane) Hantula and dear friends, Judy Greiner and Fred Matacola.
Per Ed's wishes, no services will be held.
