Edna P. Betts
Edna P. Betts, age 74, of Toledo, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at Liberty West Nursing Home, Toledo. She was born May 11, 1934 to Clarence and Mildred (Keiser) Meek in Toledo. Edna was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Betts and daughter, Debra Stout. Edna is survived by her children, Beverly (Jim) Burdue; Richard Betts; Diana (Chris) Crawford and Brenda (Jim Thomas) McGovern; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and dearest and oldest friend, Milly Smith.
A special thank you to the nurses and staffs of Liberty West Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice for the loving care and support that you provided for Edna during her time with you and also for the guidence and peace of mind you gave her family.
Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
