Edna M. Lee

Edna M. Lee, age 77, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, She was born on October 19, 1931 to Alinas and Edna Gifford in Toledo. Edna enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She always enjoyed being in the craft show at St. Clement Catholic Church. Edna loved spending time with her family and loved nothing more than being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her birth parents, she was preceded in death by her foster parents, Reed and Evelyn Henrichsen. Edna is survived by her loving husband of almost 56 years, Bill Lee; son, Phil (Diana) Lee; daughter, Pam (Doug) Stieb; grandchildren, Taylor, Casey, Landan and Badger; and her Ladies Dinner group.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
