Heaven received another angel on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Edna M. Keefe, age 99, was born on September 23, 1920 in London, Kentucky to John and Minnie Hodge. She loved to cook and bake, which is how she got her nickname by some of her grandchildren "Cookie Grandma." Edna also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Her smile and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Keefe; daughter, Minnie Robinson; son, Lee Harp; niece, Phyllis Rodrigues; nephew, David Robinson; and 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Edna is survived by her loving son, Don (Choula) Harp; daughters, Sharon (Colby) Sharp and Patsy (Ray) Jagodzinski; son-in-law, Richard Robinson, Sr.; grandchildren, Mike (Jenni) Watson, Stephen (Lindsey) Labash, Christie Watson, Christopher Sharp, Anthony Sharp, Steven Sharp, Brenda (Robert) Borer, Richard Robinson, Jr., Renee Harloff, Dan Harp, Rebecca Morton, April Lusk, Donald Harp, Jr., and Stephanie Magers; 30 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Daisy Butcher and Patti (Dallas) Matheson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
