EDMUND G. " Eddie" CORONA

Edmund G. "Eddie" Corona, age 83, of Toledo passed away Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Eddie worked for Continental Coffee Co. for more than 20 years and Walker Tool and Die Co. before retiring in 1980.
He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was an avid member of the NRA.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and his daughter, Mary Jane. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Clara, children; Nancy (Cruz) Ruiz, Edward, Jr., Patsy Radtke, Dorothy (Armando) Garcia, Kenneth (Kathy), Becky (Pat) Cira and Gina, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four brothers.
Family will receive guests 2 – 8 PM Monday in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300). Prayers will begin 9:15 AM Tuesday, April 5, 2005 in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Catherine's Parish, 4555 North Haven, Toledo. Father Gary Walters will be officiating. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be donated in Eddie's memory to the church.
