Edith Patricia Kesling, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 17, 2006 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born April 14, 1928 to Mont and Lessi (McMillen) Hall in Crab Orchard, West Virginia. Edith was an operator employed with St. Vincent Hospital for 12 years. She was a member of Flanders Road Church of Christ where she also taught Sunday school for many years. Edith was very involved with her church work. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The loves of her life was her grandsons and her great grandson, Avery," The little Prince", who always brought a smile to her face.
In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Hall; sister, Elba Williams and son-in-law, Greg Schalitz. Edith is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James D. Kesling; daughter, Pat Schalitz; grandchildren, Shane (Pam); Justin (Marie) and Troy Schalitz; brothers, Basil Hall of Crabb Orchard, WV and Kent Hall of Jasper, AL and many nieces, nephews and dear friends from church.
The family will receive guests Saturday, May 13, 2006 for a Memorial Celebration, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Flanders Road Church of Christ, 5130 Flanders Rd, Sylvania. Officiating will be Elder Rick Watson of Echo Meadows Church of Christ.
