Eddie L. Rines

Eddie L. Rines, age 70, of Toledo, Ohio passed away October 27, 2014 at University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1944 in Toledo to Rosie Mae (Rines) Hodrick. Eddie served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Johns Manville for more than 30 years retiring in 2006.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Betty J. Rines; mother, Rosie Mae Hodrick; daughter, Edwina E. (Carwein) Hardnett; sons, Michael E. (Susanne) Peacock and Shawn Rouse; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Darryl G. (Veronica) Rines. Eddie was preceded in death by his step-father, Durie L. Hodrick, Sr. and great grandmother, Carrie Fitzpatrick.

The family will receive guests Friday, October 31, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 am. at the funeral home.
