Earl A. Ogren, age 75, formerly of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on February 25, 1941 to Paul and Elizabeth (King) Ogren in Toledo. For many years he worked as a produce manager at A & P Grocery Store, later retiring from Sun Chemicals in Maumee. In his younger years, Earl had his own auctioneer business, Erie Auction and currently he had an antique booth at Stormin Norman's. One of his passions was being outdoors, he was an avid fisherman, he would fish wherever he could drop a lure and he loved to go hunting.
Left to cherish his memory his fiancé, Janice Pennington; children, Monica Ogren, Eric (Wendy) Ogren and Arlinda Ogren (Nate Maxwell); grandchildren, Austin and Anthony Skitowski; Ashley and Alex Ogren; Robbyn and Stephanie Ayers; great-grandson, Leo Michael Buck and sister, Linda Burge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharren Ogren and brothers, David and John Ogren.
The family will receive guests from 2-7:00 p.m. at Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. ( 419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
