Duane P. Reichart

Duane P. Reichart, age 89, of Toledo, passed away July 22, 2015 at Franciscan Care Center. He was born April 3, 1926 in Toledo to Paul and Cora (Brewer) Reichart. Duane was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII. He was employed as a service manager with Mark's Tractor and Equipment Company for 33 years. Duane was a member and past commander of the VFW 606 and the Lucas County Burial Corps.

Duane is survived by his daughters, Vicki (Dave) Melvin, Sheri (Chuck) Bodi and Kim (Russ) Downing; grandchildren, Jeremy Melvin, Kristiana Pekrul, Laura Hardin, Sarah Adams, Aaron, Nathan and Justin Anaya, Eric and Jordan Downing; 20 great-grandchildren; and former spouse, Shirley. In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Reichart and siblings, Fern Toth, Charlotte Griffin, Frances Parker, Carolyn Wood, Vivian Lanker and Darrell Reichart.

The family will receive guests, Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
