Dr. Robert M. Stromfeld

Dr. Robert M. Stromfeld, passed away peacefully from this earth on the 18th day of July 2016 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania,Ohio. Robert will be remembered for his personal integrity and bedside manner. His laugh was contagious along with his quick wit and humor with superior navigation skills.

Robert was a Physician for 47 years, Specializing in Emergency Medicine and most recently Urgent Care. He was honored to be the first American to graduate from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He had a long career in New York City, Community Hospital of William's County and Northwest Ohio Urgent Care, Toledo Ohio.

He is survived by his loved ones, Martha "Marti" (Coker) Morgan and Crystal (Lawrence) Dunbar; brother, Melvyn (Betty)Stromfeld of San Jose, California and Twin Sister, Lois Perotta of Boca Raton Florida; Stephanie and Madison Castillo and his beloved dog Taffy. He was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Sara (Cohen) Stromfeld.

The greatest joys in his life were being a Physician, going to estate sales, deep sea fishing, having family gatherings and tending to his ornamental grasses.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Dr. Petros Grivas at the Cleveland Clinic, the doctors, nurses and staff at Ebeid Hospice for their compassion care and attention, and wish to thank those extending their sympathy and prayers during this time.

Bob... Whenever you smiled, my day got brighter. There were so many days of laughter, special moments together at Sunset Beach, feeding the shore birds, sitting together hand in hand in the love seat and making plans for the future. Your life was taken too soon from me and our memories will live forever in my heart. I will see you on the other side!!
