Douglas M. Wietrzykowski

Douglas Wietrzykowski, age 55, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends at Mercy St. Anne Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on March 6, 1961 to Casimir and Sharon (Ignatowski) Wietrzykowski. He enjoyed the simple things in life including music, playing the guitar and reminiscing.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived by his sisters, Debra (Robert) Bedard, Shari Davis and Kelli (Greg) Hood; nieces and nephews, Samantha, Jessica and Megan Bedard; Andrew and Matthew Davis; Casey, Lindsey and Benjamin Hood; fiancé, Laura; step-sons, Michael and Matthew; step-daughter, Rachael; grand-daughter, Lilly, as well as very good friends, Bill Dittman and David Zielinski.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses in the CVICU at Mercy St. Anne Hospital, especially Abby, Carrie and Bruce.
