Douglas A. Marksch, age 61, of Toledo, passed away on December 30, 2021. He was born on December 1, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio.


Doug and his wife ran their own business for 20 years. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dog, muffin. Doug spent much of his free time outdoors, hanging with his best bud Greg. He enjoyed fishing and especially loved hunting. He loved his Mopar's and loved to race. Doug also loved spending time with family at their cabin in West Virginia.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Michelle Marksch; children, Deborah (Aaron) White and Douglas Marksch II; siblings, Patty (William) House, Tim (Pat) Marksch and Tina (Scott) Snyder; grandchildren, Chase, Brooklyn, Caden, Lilly and Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Phyllis Marksch, brother, Danny Marksch; and nephew, Chad Ott.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd.(419-381-1900) where a Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
