Dorothy M. Smith, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Innovative Dialysis. She was born on December 28, 1929 in Toledo. Dorothy was an avid reader and enjoyed tending to her plants. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Smith and her loving Aunt Nellie. Dorothy is survived by her children, Royce (Monica) Keener, Charlene (Ray) Brown, Brenda Smith and Cindy Simon; step-son, Terry (Debbie) Smith and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Friday from 12 - 3:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, (419-473-0300).
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the American Kidney Foundation.
