Dorothy Marie Watts

Dorothy went to be with her Lord, Thursday, October 20th, 2011, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 23rd, 1927 to Charles and Margaret (Erwin) Carter in Lakenan, Missouri. Dorothy was a graduate of Libbey High School. She and her late husband, Jack were members of the Toledo Sailing Club. Dorothy was an avid card player and also volunteered at the former M.C.O. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Watts and son, John Watts. She is survived by her son, Charles (Annette) Watts; grandchildren, Christie, Bryan, Hollie and Lauren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Elaine (Hal) Wagner and 6 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Maumee United Methodist Church, 405 Sackett St, with visitation 1 hour prior. Officiating will be Pastor Scot Ocke. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
