Dorothy Lee Mcclorrine

Dorothy Lee McClorrine, age 85, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Foundation Park Care Center. She was born on October 14, 1927 to Floyd and Lillie (Griffin) Steele in Meridian, Mississippi. She attended Braden United Methodist Church. Dorothy was an outstanding cook, loved gardening, horses and to play the piano. She loved nothing more than the time spent with her family. Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McClorrine, Sr.; son, Robert McClorrine, Jr.; and 3 infant children. Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Linda Hutson, Ronald (Gail) McClorrine, Lois (Jack) Flunder, Raymond (Esther) McClorrine and Barry McClorrine; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Leemond (Brenda) Steele; sister, Daisy Lewis; and a host of many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 5 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
