Dorothy L. Walter-Henry-Jones, age 75, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born September 9, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to James and Armella (McEwen) Cousino. Dorothy met and married her beloved husband, Millard "JR" Jones in 2015 and together they shared more than 6 years of marriage.
She was a talented crafter, making many different kinds of gifts and treasures for all to enjoy. Some of her favorites included Diamond Dots designs, needlepoint patterns, decorative hand-towels and beautiful hair-bows.
Dorothy also enjoyed music like classic country and gospel. She experienced music at a young age with her siblings and it continued throughout her life. Dorothy spent many hours at jam sessions with her husband "JR", often asking him to put down his guitar and dance with her. She also enjoyed playing Gummy Drops and a few other fun games. Her home was filled with her many collections and with each collection there was a story about how she came to find each piece. Many of these stories are now treasured memories and will continue to bring smiles and laughter to those who knew and loved her. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister always putting her family first. Family get-together's and holiday celebrations were always special times. She had a strong faith and enjoyed being a member of Neighborhood Baptist Church, attending services weekly.
